KPMG Advisory offers consulting services to companies to assist them in business model transformation, process improvement and digitisation, risk analysis and management, and support in extraordinary finance transactions. When you join the Financial Risk team in Milan, you are going to work on Financial Risk projects for top-tier clients in the Financial Services sector.
Specifically, you will be tasked with:
- supporting clients in defining and delivering business transformation initiatives, contributing to the redesign of operating models, processes, governance frameworks and organizational structures across different business functions
- performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify business needs, operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, translating insights into pragmatic and value-driven recommendations
- contributing to the design and implementation of strategic, organizational and operational transformation programs, supporting clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from assessment to execution
- preparing executive-level presentations, business cases, project documentation and Steering Committee materials, ensuring high-quality deliverables and clear communication of key finding
- supporting project governance and project management activities, including planning, progress monitoring, risk and issue management, stakeholder coordination and reporting to senior management
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
This is the perfect opportunity for you if:
- have at least 2 years of experience in banks, credit institutions or in primary consultancy companies on business transformation, operational excellence, project management, process improvement or organizational change projects
- have a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or related disciplines;
- have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a hands-on and pragmatic approach to tackling complex issues, synthesizing information, structuring solutions, and developing practical, actionable recommendations.
- have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare client-ready deliverables and effectively interact with stakeholders
- have an excellent knowledge of the English language, preferably backed up by experience abroad;
- have an excellent knowledge of the office package, knowledge of programming languages for database analysis will be considered a plus

Standard employment contract under the collective labour agreement for the commerce sector, with a starting gross annual salary ranging from €30,000 to €33,000. The salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including the candidate’s skills and experience assessed against the requirements of the role.
