KPMG Business Services offre servizi interni all’organizzazione, supportando tutte le linee di servizio e coadiuvando i professionisti nella gestione delle attività quotidiane. In particolare, entrando a far parte del Team Cloud & AI Architect di Milano sarai responsabile di fornire i più alti standard di assistenza diretta e di supporto alla Leadership e ai componenti del Management Group. 

 

Nello specifico, ti occuperai di:

 

  • Supportare il disegno e la revisione di architetture cloud e AI su Azure (inclusi casi generativi e RAG) sicure, scalabili e sostenibili, collaborando con team di sviluppo e architetti senior.
  • Collaborare al disegno e alla revisione di architetture cloud su Azure e soluzioni AI, contribuendo alle specifiche tecniche e funzionali insieme a figure senior.
  • Supportare la definizione di ambienti Azure in coordinamento con i team di security e infrastruttura.
  • Valutare tecnologie AI, sia infrastrutturali che destinate ad utenti finali (es. Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Studio, Copilot M365) evidenziando principali trade‑off e rischi e preparando semplici demo o reference pattern.
  • Contribuire alla progettazione di pattern AI/GenAI (RAG di base, prompt engineering, guardrail, content safety) e integrazione di LLM via API.
  • Guidare l’adozione di AI per lo sviluppo software (es. GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio/Prompt Flow) tramite linee guida, esempi e coaching ai team.
  • Partecipare a PoC e assessment architetturali; contribuire a decision log/ADR, roadmap e piani di migrazione/modernizzazione.
  • Collaborare con team cross‑funzionali e comunicare chiaramente a stakeholder tecnici e business; facilitare workshop e allineamenti.
  • Documentare e presentare soluzioni e supportare il passaggio a operation e il post‑go‑live.
  • Apprendere e applicare best practice Azure Well‑Architected/CAF, favorendo standardizzazione di blueprint e reference architecture.

 

 

 

 

Come As Are - Le tue competenze e caratteristiche

 

Questa opportunità è perfetta per te se:

 

  • Hai buone competenze di programmazione per leggere/valutare codice, partecipare a revisioni tecniche e prototipare in piccolo- non è richiesta l’implementazione di feature in produzione.
  • Hai una laurea in Informatica/Ingegneria o equivalente.
  • Hai un’esperienza di 1–3 anni complessivi in ambito IT (o progetti pratici/tirocini significativi) con esposizione a sistemi cloud ed AI.
  • Hai solida base di programmazione (C#, Java, Python o JavaScript/TypeScript) per leggere/valutare codice, partecipare a code review e prototipare; non è richiesto lo sviluppo di feature in produzione.
  • Hai passione per l’AI e le sue applicazioni nel software; utilizzo pratico di strumenti AI per lo sviluppo (es. GitHub Copilot).
  • Hai conoscenza di base di Azure: principi dei principali servizi (compute PaaS/serverless, storage, database), identity & access management e networking (VNet, Private Endpoints).
  • Hai una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese.

Do Work That Matters – Your Role and Responsibilities

KPMG Business Services provides internal services to the organization, supporting all service lines and assisting professionals in managing their daily activities. In particular, by joining the Cloud & AI Architect Team in Milan, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of direct assistance and support to Leadership and members of the Management Group.

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Support the design and review of secure, scalable, and sustainable cloud and AI architectures on Azure (including generative use cases and RAG), collaborating with development teams and senior architects.

  • Contribute to the design and review of Azure cloud architectures and AI solutions, supporting technical and functional specifications alongside senior professionals.

  • Support the definition of Azure environments in coordination with security and infrastructure teams.

  • Evaluate AI technologies, both infrastructure-based and end-user oriented (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Studio, Copilot M365), highlighting key trade-offs and risks, and preparing simple demos or reference patterns.

  • Contribute to the design of AI/GenAI patterns (basic RAG, prompt engineering, guardrails, content safety) and integration of LLMs via API.

  • Drive AI adoption in software development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio/Prompt Flow) through guidelines, examples, and team coaching.

  • Participate in PoCs and architectural assessments; contribute to decision logs/ADRs, roadmaps, and migration/modernization plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders; facilitate workshops and alignment meetings.

  • Document and present solutions and support the transition to operations and post go-live phases.

  • Learn and apply Azure Well-Architected Framework/CAF best practices, promoting the standardization of blueprints and reference architectures.

 

Come As You Are – Your Skills and Qualifications

 

This opportunity is perfect for you if:

 

  • You have solid programming skills to read/evaluate code, participate in technical reviews, and build small prototypes – implementation of production features is not required.

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

  • You have 1–3 years of overall experience in IT (or significant hands-on projects/internships) with exposure to cloud systems and AI.

  • You have a strong programming foundation (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript) to read/evaluate code, participate in code reviews, and prototype; production feature development is not required.

  • You have a passion for AI and its applications in software development, with practical use of AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

  • You have a basic knowledge of Azure, including principles of key services (PaaS/serverless compute, storage, databases), identity & access management, and networking (VNet, Private Endpoints).

  • You have a good command of the English language.
