KPMG Advisory provides consulting services to support companies in business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis, and extraordinary finance transactions.

Specifically, when you join the Digital Finance Transformation team across Italy, you will learn how finance projects are run end-to-end, from process analysis to reporting, and understand how AI can be applied to enhance processes and support decision-making.

You will be tasked with:

• Conduct process assessments and gap analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of finance processes and controls, leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, uncover recurring patterns, identify inefficiencies and gaps through best-practice benchmarking, and identify opportunities for automation;
• Design the Target Operating Model (TOM) using AI-assisted insights to optimize workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve decision support;
• Redefine performance management strategies, supporting CFOs in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, utilizing AI to enhance requirement analysis, drive innovative solution design, and enable predictive and scenario-based analytics;
• Support reporting and data visualization, creating dashboards and insights using AI to identify anomalies, uncover trends and key insights, and build intelligent, action-oriented dashboards that support decision-making;
• Collaborate with clients to implement and integrate EPM systems using AI-enabled modules to enhance planning, forecasting, and reporting, while assessing automation impacts and benefits through business cases and feasibility studies;
• Define the organizational structure, competencies, resources, training plans, operating logic, and timelines for finance digital transformation initiatives.

Come As You Are – Your skills and characteristics

This is the perfect opportunity for you if you have:

• A master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics or similar AI-oriented programs
• Excellent knowledge of English, ideally with study and/or work experience abroad
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about the application of AI in finance processes and decision-making
• Interest in learning how finance transformation projects are executed and how AI can generate actionable insights in real business contexts
• Ability to bridge business understanding and technology, using AI as a tool to deliver insights that support planning, forecasting, and reporting
