Do Work That Matters - Your role and responsibilities

KPMG Deal Advisory M&A Tax Team is a leading service line in KPMG Italy. We serve the M&A tax market, assisting Private Capital Houses and acquisitive corporates in their transactions.  Working on leading transactions on the market.

As a team player ou will operate in a constantly evolving scenario, requiring tax competences, analytical skills, ability to think outside the box and a transaction minded attitude.

Your tasks will include working on:

• Tax structuring of M&A deals and debt issues;
• Tax due diligence assignments);
• Tax models preparation and review
• MIP structuring
• Analysis on complex domestic and Internations tax issues, including, but not limited to business combinations
• Preparation of tax rulings  
• Corporate restructuring;

You will be involved in domestic and international projects, working alongside highly qualified professionals and acquiring top-level skills through interaction with the brightest minds in the field and challenging clients.

This is the perfect opportunity for you if you have:

Education and Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Economics (LM-77 or LM-56) or Law (LMG-01), with a final grade of at least 105/110;
• Qualified (or in the process of qualifying) as a Chartered Accountant (Dottore Commercialista) and/or Lawyer (Avvocato).

Experience, Skills and Competencies:

• 6+ years of experience operating at Manager or Senior Manager level within a Big 4 or top-tier advisory firm.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and ability to drive execution in an efficient and timely manner.
• Strong ability to analyse complex issues and develop well-reasoned positions independently.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring and developing junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
