Do Work That Matters - Your role and responsibilities
KPMG Deal Advisory M&A Tax Team is a leading service line in KPMG Italy. We serve the M&A tax market, assisting Private Capital Houses and acquisitive corporates in their transactions. Working on leading transactions on the market
As part of the team, you will support activities in a dynamic environment, building your tax knowledge and analytical skills. You will be encouraged to think proactively and adopt a practical, transaction-oriented approach.
Your tasks will include working on:
- Tax structuring of M&A deals and debt issues;
- Tax due diligence assignments);
- Tax models preparation and review
- MIP structuring
- Analysis on complex domestic and Internations tax issues, including, but not limited to business combinations
- Preparation of tax rulings
- Corporate restructuring;
You will be involved in domestic and international projects, working alongside highly qualified professionals and acquiring top-level skills through interaction with the brightest minds in the field and challenging clients.

This is the perfect opportunity for you if you have:
Education and Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in Economics (LM-77 or LM-56) or Law (LMG-01), with a final grade of at least 105/110;
- Qualified (or in the process of qualifying) as a Chartered Accountant (Dottore Commercialista) and/or Lawyer (Avvocato).
Experience, Skills and Competencies:
- 3+ years of experience operating at Junior or Senior tax specialist level within a Big 4 or top-tier advisory firm.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop initial views on technical matters, with appropriate guidance when needed.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset, with willingness to collaborate and support colleagues across different projects.
- For more experienced candidates: ability to support and coach junior team members, contributing to their development and ensuring quality of deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Excellent command of the English language
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
