Our Financial risk management practice is a KPMG Advisory centre of excellence.

We help clients across all market sectors implement robust financial risk frameworks that are compliant with Italian and international legislation, lead to better decision making and improve results.

Your talent will be put to full use, enabling you to work with leading Italian and international clients, tangibly contributing to their success.

You will join our Milan team to serve top-tier clients in the Financial services sector, managing projects that involve finance and control functions for market and counterparty risk, with a focus on both regulatory, organisational, process and methodological aspects and the development of models.

Specifically:

• project management and the coordination and monitoring of complex finance, market risk, counterparty and ESG projects;
• defining operating models in high-end, client-based finance (wealth management and asset management);
• defining organisational structures for finance and control structures;
• analysing and applying new regulations (Basel IV, MIFIDII, EBA Guidelines and SFDR), actively collaborating with the international KPMG network.

The ideal candidate must have:

• experience (even brief) in finance support functions with banks or financial institutions (risk management, organisation, middle and back office, etc.) or top-tier consulting companies in which you worked on finance and market risk projects;
• knowledge of the regulatory framework;
• specialist degree in scientific, engineering or business subjects;
• excellent knowledge of English, preferably with experience abroad;
• excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
