In particolare, entrando a far parte del Team di Infrastructure & cloud del nostro dipartimento di IT interno di Milano, potrai occuparti di supportare la crescita e l’evoluzione verso un modello cloud‑first mantenendo al contempo solide capacità on‑prem.

Nello specifico, ti occuperai di:

• Gestire e ottimizzare infrastrutture on‑prem: Windows/Linux Server, Active Directory, VMware, storage SAN/NAS, backup, networking L2/L3.
• Amministrare workload cloud (preferenza Microsoft Azure): IaaS/PaaS, IAM, networking, monitoring, cost governance; integrazione M365/Entra ID/Intune.
• Curare sicurezza operativa: hardening, MFA, gestione patch, vulnerabilità, logging/alerting, applicazione controlli Zero Trust in collaborazione con il team Security.
• Automatizzare e standardizzare
• Garantire alta affidabilità e continuità operativa: piani DR/BCP, test periodici, capacity & performance tuning.
• Gestione incident/change/problem secondo ITIL, collaborazione cross‑team e supporto di 2°/3° livello.

Come As You Are - Le tue competenze e caratteristiche

Questa opportunità è perfetta per te se:

• Hai 4–6+ anni in ruoli di System/Cloud Administration su ambienti ibridi.
• Hai Solida esperienza su AD, DNS/DHCP/GPO, VMware, backup/restore, networking (VLAN, VPN, firewalling di base).
• Hai esperienza su Azure in ambito compute, storage, networking, identity e security; familiarità con M365/Entra ID/Intune.
• Scripting (PowerShell/Bash)
• Hai un approccio metodico, orientamento al servizio, capacità di troubleshooting e gestione priorità.
• Hai una conoscenza della lingua inglese almeno B2.
• Verranno considerati plus la conoscenza di: Kubernetes/containers, Linux

Do Work That Matters – Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you want to do work that is truly meaningful and impactful? At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to address and solve today’s most relevant and complex challenges.

KPMG Business Services provides internal services to the organization, supporting all service lines and assisting professionals in managing their daily activities. In particular, by joining the Infrastructure & Cloud Team within our Internal IT Department in Milan, you will contribute to the growth and evolution towards a cloud-first model, while maintaining strong on-premises capabilities.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and optimizing on-premises infrastructures: Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware, SAN/NAS storage, backup systems, L2/L3 networking.

• Administering cloud workloads (with a preference for Microsoft Azure): IaaS/PaaS, IAM, networking, monitoring, cost governance; integration with M365/Entra ID/Intune.

• Ensuring operational security: hardening, MFA, patch management, vulnerability management, logging and alerting, application of Zero Trust controls in collaboration with the Security team.

• Automating and standardizing processes.

• Ensuring high reliability and business continuity: DR/BCP plans, periodic testing, capacity and performance tuning.

• Managing incidents, changes and problems according to ITIL standards, collaborating cross-team and providing 2nd/3rd level support.

Come As You Are – Your Skills and Profile

This opportunity is ideal for you if:

• You have 4–6+ years of experience in System/Cloud Administration roles within hybrid environments.

• You have solid expertise in AD, DNS/DHCP/GPO, VMware, backup/restore solutions, and networking (VLANs, VPNs, basic firewalling).

• You have hands-on experience with Azure (compute, storage, networking, identity and security) and familiarity with M365/Entra ID/Intune.

• You have scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Bash).

• You adopt a methodical, service-oriented approach, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.

• You have an English proficiency of at least B2 level.

Knowledge of Kubernetes/containers and Linux environments will be considered a plus.
