The goals of our experts working in the public sector would generally align with the overall objectives of leveraging BI technology to enhance decision-making processes and improve the efficiency of operations within the public sector organization.

Here are some common goals:

Data Governance and Compliance:

• • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations relevant to the public sector.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
  • Identify and address risks related to data security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Implement measures to mitigate risks associated with BI implementations.

Strategic Planning and Decision Support:

• • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and align BI initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Provide decision-makers with timely and accurate information for informed decision-making.

Performance Management:

• • Coordinate performance management projects finalized to monitor and evaluate the performance of various departments and initiatives and to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track progress against organizational objectives.

Integration of Data Sources:

• • Coordinate the integrations of the diverse data sources to create a comprehensive view of organizational data.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP BI solutions and other systems used within the public sector.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

• • Optimize BI solutions to assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with BI projects and initiatives.

Collaboration and Communication:

• • Foster collaboration between IT and business units to ensure BI solutions meet the needs of end-users.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and keep them informed about BI developments.

Change Management:

• • Implement effective change management strategies (communication and training strategy and planning included) to facilitate the adoption of BI solutions within the organization.
  • Address resistance to change and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.

By focusing on these goals, our experts in the public sector can contribute to the overall success of the organization by improving data-driven decision-making, efficiency, and accountability. 

We are looking for a professional with at least 8 years of experience in BI solutions, with high skills and experience to lead and manage our Business Intelligence (BI) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BI technologies, data analysis, and project management. As the SAP BI Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP BI solutions to meet the organization's business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on datasphere management, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other BI tools to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Specifically, key responsibilities are:

1. Team Leadership:
   • Lead, mentor, and manage the SAP BI team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
   • Provide guidance and support to team members in the successful delivery of BI solutions.
2. SAP BI Implementation:
   • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of SAP BI solutions to meet business requirements.
   • Ensure the effective integration of SAP Analytics Cloud and other BI tools within the organization's ecosystem.
3. Datasphere Management:
   • Develop and implement strategies for effective datasphere management, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies and standards.
4. BI Tools Expertise:
   • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BI tools, particularly SAP Analytics Cloud and other relevant technologies.
   • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new BI tools to enhance the organization's analytics capabilities.
5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
   • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translate them into BI solutions.
   • Foster effective communication and collaboration between the BI team and other departments.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
• Proven experience (8 + years) in SAP BI implementation and management roles
• In-depth knowledge of datasphere management principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and proficiency in other BI tools
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• relevant certifications in BI tools and SAP Analytics Cloud are a plus
