Junior Consultant Internal Audit & Fraud Management

Forensic is KPMG Advisory's line of professional services to prevent, identify and minimise economic, reputational and IT risks deriving from fraud, irregularities, trade and financial disputes and breach of contract.

 

Fraud, falsifying information and reports, embezzlement, bribery of private individuals and public officials, conflicts of interest and cybercrime. These are only a few of the incidents, which are much more frequent than officially reported, that can expose companies to the risk of financial losses, reputational damage and the deterioration of their trading relationships.

 

As part of the KPMG Forensic team, you will assist clients and their legal advisers in:

• preventing, identifying and responding to violations (legislative and/or procedural violations), complaints or irregularities;

• preventing, mitigating with remedial plans and resolving disputes;

• using information and other data in the public domain concerning natural persons and legal entities.

 

We are recruiting bright young recent or near graduates for our Rome office to join the team and make the difference for our clients.

 

Specifically, your tasks may include:

• investigation (fraud & misconduct, bribery & corruption, other regulatory issues, cybercrime);

• fraud risk management & corporate compliance (regulatory enforcement compliance, fraud risk management).

 

The ideal candidate must have:

• a master's degree in business and/or accounting (e.g., business administration, AFC, market economics and the economics of financial intermediaries, etc.) with excellent results;

• knowledge of accounting, compliance (e.g., Legislative decree no. 231, anti-money laundering, etc.), corporate governance and risk management, preferably through university courses and/or master's programmes in these fields;

• excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad (level C1);

• excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
