KPMG Advisory offers consulting services to companies to assist them in business model transformation, process improvement and digitisation, risk analysis and management, and support in extraordinary finance transactions. When you join the Actuarial Services team in Rome, you are going to work on Life insurance projects for top-tier clients in the Insurance sector.
Specifically, you will be tasked with:
- finance transformation, including in connection with the adoption of IFRS 17;
- capital management and Solvency II (e.g., internal model review and/or application and capital optimisation);
- M&A: assistance in due diligence on both the buy side and the sell side;
- technology change and analytics: developing actuarial platforms and automation processes, including with the use of AI and Machine Learning;
- traditional reporting and audit support.
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
This is the perfect opportunity for you if:
- you have 2 years of experience with insurance companies, consulting companies or actuarial firms in which you worked on life insurance projects
- familiarity with IFRS 17 and Solvency II issues;
- specialist degree in statistical and actuarial sciences or similar. Registration in the roll of actuaries is an advantage but not a requirement;
- preferably, knowledge of at least one of the market software programmes for cash flow projections (Prophet, RAFM and MG_Alpha) and one of the main programming languages (R, Matlab and VBA);
- excellent knowledge of English, preferably with experience abroad.
