Junior Payroll Specialist - Verona

KPMG Accounting has over 300 professionals across four locations and continues to grow. As the Italian company of the KPMG network providing professional services for administrative, accounting and tax processes, KPMG Accounting supports leading Italian and international companies with administration, finance and control. It plays a key role in identifying potential opportunities, redesigning reporting models and harmonising management accounting processes. 


At KPMG Accounting, we aim to invest in young people to equip them with the solid skills they need to become trusted, reliable professionals. By joining one of KPMG’s Accounting teams, you will work closely with leading companies, assisting them with an integrated compliance approach to administrative activities to translate the various legislative, regulatory and procedural requirements into accounting, tax and legal processes. 

By joining the Verona team, you will be involved in payroll activities, including: 

  

  • monthly processing of pay slips; 

  • regulatory compliance for companies and employees; 

  • INPS (Italian social security institution)/INAIL (National institute for insurance against accidents at work) fulfilments; 

  • CU forms; 

  • 770 forms; 

  • INAIL reverse charge; 

  • calculation of contributions; 

  • assistance via ongoing monitoring of Italian and international regulations on contractual, contribution and tax issues for employees. 

 

 

The ideal candidate must have: 

  

  • a degree in business or legal subjects; 

  • a strong track record in payroll and contributions, preferably in professional firms; 

  • appropriate training and constant updates with respect to all labour laws and their correct application; 

  • excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite,specifically Excel; 

  • flexibility, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; 

  • excellent knowledge of English. 

  

You must also be a problem solver, never lose sight of goals and have strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for teamwork. Your motivation and enthusiasm inspire confidence and empower change.
