KPMG Advisory's Governance, risk, compliance and sustainability team supports companies in the definition of governance and organisational structures that help them face the challenges of the digital transformation and sustainable success through processes for the management of risks and opportunities that are integrated with strategies and performance, factoring in ESG topics and impacts.

 

If you are passionate about governance, sustainability and internal control and risk management systems, with an interest in consulting, join our Verona team serving clients in the Consumer & industrial markets sector.

As part of the Governance, risk, compliance and sustainability team, you will gain expertise in the following areas:

• design and implementation of compliance programmes (anti-bribery, Legislative decree no. 231, Antitrust and Legislative decree no. 262);

• integrated compliance and design of digital platforms;

• internal audit;

• evaluating and designing internal control systems;

• sustainability strategies and the creation of shared value;

• non-financial reporting systems in line with emerging regulations and international frameworks;

• integrated approaches to climate change and decarbonisation;

• enterprise risk management models integrated with climate-related and ESG risks.

 

The ideal candidate must have:

• a master's degree in business and management, business administration, administration, finance and controlling, engineering management and environmental engineering;

• at least three years of experience in similar roles or as an auditor with a consulting company/Big Four company or in the internal audit departments of industrial companies;

• interest in working on sustainability, corporate governance, internal audit, risk management and compliance topics and for companies in the consumer & industrial markets sector;

• an excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad;

• an excellent command of Microsoft Office;

• CIA, CRMA, IRCM, CFE, etc. professional certification is preferred.

 

You must also be a natural problem-solver, never lose sight of goals and have strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for teamwork. You enjoy taking on challenges and are comfortable in fast-changing situations where your leadership abilities make the difference.
